PREDICTIVE MAINTENANCE PROGRAM

Another type of maintenance used in textile industries is the predictive one. This is based on the monitoring of mechanical components in operation. The collected data are analyzed and will inform the level of wear that a given component presents. Once the component and type of wear have been identified, it is possible to replace the componente with another one, before major damage occurs, causing the machine to stop.

For example, the valves of pressurized systems of machines that work in the manufacture of synthetic yarns are monitored.
